York is a historic city based in North Yorkshire. The city was founded in the Roman times and has a rich history all the way through the Middle Ages to the present day. Known for being a major railway hub and also the home of confectionery, the city earned itself the nickname the Chocolate City. Extremely popular with the University of York students due to its perfect location for the campus. The area is a little further away from York city centre but still easily accessible by bus.
