  1. What are general guidelines for using Campusboard?

    Once you agree with the buyer/seller to complete the exchange, try to arrange the meeting during day time in public ares to ensure your personal safety.

  2. What are some tips for posting a new listing?

    Be very concise with your listing's title, you've only got 60 characters. Put secondary information (e.g. author's name, full textbook title, etc) into description.

  3. Can I post a listing without a photo?

    No, you must upload either your own photo or find an appropriate photo on Google Images. To ensure that your listing gets attention upload a nice, high quality picture.

  4. How do I Re-crop or Delete a Listing?

    Click 'Your Listings' button on you campuses' page then click the 'Edit' link on a listing you want. On top of the Edit form there's a link to Re-crop or Delete a listing.

  5. Do I need to have a university email and/or be a registered user to reply to a listing?

    No, anyone can contact the owner.

  6. What shall I write the owner of a listing?

    Ask them for conditions of an item, bargain a better deal. If you want to buy the item right away ask them where they'd like to meet?

  7. What happens when I reply to a listing?

    The owner of that listing will receive an email with the message you wrote and the email you indicated. It is up to the owner to reply to your message.

  8. How safe is my personal information?

    Your password is encrypted, so no one will ever be able to see it. Even us. The rest of you personal information is stored in plaintext. Although no website in the world is safe from being hacked, we are doing the best we can to keep your personal information as secure as possible.

  9. Can I register with an e-mail other than that of my university?

    No. Although let us know if your valid email address is rejected during sign up. It is possible, though unlikely, that we forgot to allow a particular university domain name.

  10. My university is not on the list, when will it be available?

    We are planning to roll out Campusboard across most universities in the UK & US over the next few months. This is to ensure the best possible user experience and minimum service interruptions. To ensure Campusboard is available at your university earlier than everywhere else, drop us an email.

  11. How do I report inappropriate content I see on Campusboard?

    Just drop us an email with a screenshot or a link to the inappropriate content.

  12. What items aren't allowed for sale on Campusboard?

    Anything prohibited by laws in the UK and US as well as drugs and drug paraphernalia, firearms, ammunition and weapons, stolen property, offensive material. These and other controversial items will be removed from Campusboard without any notice to the owner.

  13. I'd like to permanently delete my account, how can I do it?

    Just drop us a message from your login email.
