The room: double bed (rent my linens for the year or bring your own), chest of drawers, electric desk and chair, comfy chair, two built-in wardrobes with hanging space and shelves, bedside lamp and desk lamp. The room sports the original Victorian fireplace--but we use central heating! You would be sharing a fully-equipped kitchenette and bathroom/shower with one female lodger on your floor.
Shared spaces, ground floor: TV/snug, dining room, kitchen (tea, coffee and chats), and garden.
Bills: all included.
Transport/area: Buses 3,7,8,12,24, 31, 38, 37,47 more around the corner. We're 10-15 mins from central Edinburgh, Bristo Sq., Meadows. 5 mins to King's Buildings, short bus to Royal Infirmary.
The household: An international mix of post-grads and myself, a professional in the creative industry. Our undergrad party days are over; we're all between 23 – 55, more likely to enjoy movie nights and eclectic house meals than wild raves and alcoholic binges. Indian Easter Lunch feast anybody? Cups up tea, cake-bakes, and a maybe a 15 min drive for a walk on Portobello beach is as exciting as it gets. Respect for others' space and schedules is super important. That's how we roll.
