Our residence has an on-site gym that's free to use for residents however for the more concerning enthusiast, Wolverhampton has loads of other gyms you can go to, including The Gym, which is 21 minutes on foot from your door, PureGym which is 26 minutes away, or Gymophobics, a mere 18 minutes away (this one is ladies only). Just think of the extra calories you’ll be burning walking there! You don’t have to do the whole gym experience, if that’s not your thing. You’ve got lots of classes you can attend, too, which is an exciting way to spend an hour or two and get healthier at the same time.

Getting out and about is easy, too. You’ve got loads of places where you can enjoy a workout outdoors, when the weather is nice (or even when it’s not, if you’re super hardcore). Why not try yoga at West Park?

If you’re of the more adventurous disposition, we’d really recommend Wolf Mountain. It’s an indoor climbing centre and it’s absolutely bound to test your limits whilst offering a fun place to work out! Just hop on a bus for 20 minutes and you’ll be there.

More of a spectator? You won’t be the first, and you certainly won’t be the last – but one of your teams has to be! Whilst you’re in Wolverhampton, be sure to check out the local football team, Wolverhampton Wanderers, training at Molineux Stadium, just 15 minutes away from you if you’re walking.
