In the past few weeks, we've received many questions from students looking to book a room for the next academic year but worried about the impact of COVID-19. We wanted to share our answers to the top questions below.
Am I still able to book a room for September?
Yes. Our booking system has not been affected and we are still processing all bookings as normal. Most providers have now updated their cancellation policies allowing to delay or cancel your tenancy should your university course be affected by COVID-19. When enquiring about a room you like, make sure to confirm its cancellation policy with our team.
How can I view a property?
Despite not being able to physically visit at this time, all of our properties offer a wide range of photos and many are offering online tours via Skype at your convenience (some even offer virtual reality tours of the accommodation). Let us know in your enquiry or booking that you'd like to view your chosen room and our accommodation team will arrange a viewing for you.
What if I can't travel to the UK?
Almost all providers are now offering No Visa/No Travel cancellation policies. Which means that if you are unable to reach the UK due to COVID-19 restrictions, you will be released from your contract. Speak to our team for the cancellation policy of the property you are interested in.
What if I'm not sure what my plans are?
We understand there is a lot of uncertainty, but we are working hard to ensure we have the most up to date information possible. We still recommend you take a look at the properties available in the areas you may be studying in, and get in touch with us to see what the best options are.
