Popular Student Areas of Leicester

A nice and generally quiet area just to the south east of the city centre and well located for the University of Leicester. The city centre remains easily accessible but there are also good facilities in the immediate vicinity. Considered one of the more expensive student areas it still remains very popular.

A stalwart within the student community of Leicester. Popular for many years and still going strong. Well located for getting to town as well as the universities and home to a good number of green spaces to enjoy.

Close to the city centre and the amenities this affords. Great for large house shares at a good price. The area is well located for both the town and the universities and has a pretty large student population because of this.

Aylestone Park

South of the city centre and well located for the universities. The area will also be popular with sports fans as the grounds of both Leicester City and the Leicester Tigers are situated around here.

Fairly upmarket and a little further away from the town centre is Oadby. Still easily accessible from the town centre and from university this area offers a quieter option and is popular with families and potentially 2nd and 3rd years. The area itself has decent amenities and some lovely green spaces to enjoy.
