About this place

Q3 is a home-from-home, perfectly designed with all of the facilities to make your life at university safe, comfortable and enjoyable.

Centrally located close to Manchester city centre, this modern student accommodation features a mixture of studios and shared three, four and five bedroom apartments so you can choose to live totally in your own place, or have your own space but share a living area and kitchen with others.

We’ve got the basics taken care of too – fully furnished rooms with three-quarter or double beds, your own bathroom, a desk, free WiFi and a TV point in every bedroom, integrated appliances in the kitchen, a launderette on site, and utilities included in your rent. We even provide a vacuum cleaner!
Whether you’re seeking culture, nightlife, history, or just good fun, there are plenty of things to do in Manchester.

Manchester’s food and drink culture is thriving. With new restaurants, bars, gastropubs, and cafes opening weekly, the city is establishing itself as one of the UK’s most exciting foodie destinations. You’re definitely spoilt for choice when it comes to satisfying an appetite in Manchester.

Food and drink aside, there’s plenty to see and do on the social scene in this fantastically vibrant city.
It’s not just city life that makes Manchester magnificent but everything in general. If you’re a thrill seeker who loves experiencing something new then Manchester can certainly help you tick things off your bucket list.

If you’re looking for something a bit more leisurely that also includes a swift half along the way then there’s the transpennine real ale trail, a brilliant bonding day out with dad or of course for all the fitness fanatics out there, there are plenty of gyms and fitness classes to choose from.

The Manchester Arndale,  Trafford Centre, Exchange Square and Market Street offer everything you could possibly wish for when it comes to international brands and the very best of British.

For those with a taste for something a bit different you can visit the boutique districts around Kings Street, Spinningfields and New Cathedral Street. You can even shop until your heart’s content amongst handmade, vintage and retro stores in The Northern Quarter.
Getting to Manchester is incredibly easy whether it’s by car, train or plane. With links to a huge number of train operators it’s easy to travel from North, South, East or West. Trains from London leave every 20 mins with a total journey time of just over two hours.

The main motorways serving Manchester are the M60, M56, M61, M62, M66 an M67 so getting to us by car or bus is an easier, if not longer option.

Manchester Airport is the gateway into and out of the city with flights to global destinations. Great for international students of those of you looking for a city break or week away.

Buses and trams are available to get you around the city, so if you really have shopped and dropped or have enjoyed the local fine food and drink there’s always a way to get home.
